Statement of Intent
The Notting Hill Carnival takes place on the August bank holiday weekend when approximately 15,000 participants in 80 masquerade bands parade around the streets of Notting Hill watched by around a million spectators.
The photographs in my panel were taken with the purpose of being used by feature editors or advertisers requiring individual photographs that embody the essence of the Carnival. Indeed my carnival photographs have been used in magazines, books and promotional material.
