Statment of Intent
The aim of this panel, for the Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society, is to show various examples of birds (and their behaviour) in their everyday environment. These are to include the activities of flight, feeding, bathing and also occasionally aggression.
In the flight shots I am aiming to show the beauty of shape and also how food is frequently carried, eaten and even caught on the wing.
All images were shot digitally, as raw files, using Canon photographic equipment. Images were manipulated in Photoshop CS2, using mainly levels, curves and various methods of localised shading.
