The Society's Members' Exhibition
The Members' Exhibition was instigated in 2003 as a response to requests from RPS members for an exclusive exhibition. The Exhibition provides an opportunity for members to showcase the high standard of their work and to demonstrate their commitment to the art of photography.
This touring Exhibition is open to members only, and takes place every two years. Entry forms are sent out in the RPS Journal. From the submitted prints, 100 are selected by Fellows of The Society and members of the Exhibitions Committee. The Exhibition tours the UK for a year.
Members' Exhibitions have taken place in 2003, 2005 and 2007. The next Members' Exhibition will take place in 2009 and entry forms will be sent to RPS members in this September's Journal and will be posted on the website at the beginning of September .
Dates for entries:
22 September 2008 - Closing date for UK entries to be with Regional Organisers
31 October 2008 - Closing date for all other entries to be at the Bath Headquarters
19 November 2008 - Selection Day
The Society is currently looking for venues for the Members' Exhibition throughout 2009. Please contact Lesley Goode, Exhibition Manager, if you have a suitable venue to display the 100 framed prints in your area (40cms x 50cms)
