Nominate for an Award

Nominations for the Royal Photographic Society Awards are open and the closing date for nominations for the 2024 Awards is 26 April 2024. 

Awards are given in each of three main pillars: 

• The Art of Photography and Moving Image 
• The Science of Photography and Moving Image
• The Knowledge and Understanding of Photography and Moving Image

Our most prestigious award is a Medal with Honorary Fellowship. We also recognise Honorary Fellowships and Individual Awards within each pillar. 

Nominations are also open for the RPS Member Awards recognising outstanding contributions to the RPS over a sustained period.

Award Categories Summary

To make a nomination simply use the online form below. You'll be asked to provide a summary of up to 500 words of your nominees' contribution to the field of the award. It is helpful to prepare this in advance before completing the form. Once you have completed a nomination, simply click ‘Nominate again’ to go back to the start of the form. You can make as many nominations, in as many categories, as you wish.
