Our Structure

The RPS is headed by The Society's elected Council (who are also Trustees) which sets the overall policy and direction of The Society working in partnership with the Director-General and HQ staff. It is supported by an Advisory Board made up of representatives from each of the Special Interest Groups and Regions plus elected members. Council is also supported by specialist committees which report back to it via a nominated Council member.

The Distinctions are overseen by the Distinctions Advisory Board.

RPS Structure

Regions - All UK members are allocated to a Region when they join.  Each Region hosts events and meetings and has a management team built up of volunteers.

Chapters - Overseas members can choose to join a Chapter where they exist. There may be a fee to join.  If there isn't a Chapter in your country why not contact us to discuss forming one!  Chapters host events and meetings and have a management team made up of local members.

Special Interest Groups - are open to all RPS members to join.  There is a small joining fee.  Special Interest Groups host events and meetings and have a management team made up of elected members of the Group.  Many of them also have their own magazines which are sent to their members.  To find out more about the Special Interest Groups choose the relevant tab in the menu above - you can join through MyRPS or by contacting our Membership department.
