The Advisory Zone is intended to help the potential applicant learn more about the expectations of the various distinction panels. It offers advice about the distinction processes but it does not teach photography. The Distinctions Handbook explains the requirements and the mechanics while the Advisory Zone enables the applicant to put together their evidence. It does not replace our recommendations for applicants to attend The Society’s Distinctions Advisory Days and/or the adjudication of Licentiateship and Associateship applications that are conducted in open forum. Please be aware that the nature of these low-resolution images does not reflect the quality required for our distinctions.
