This carefully restored Georgian house, with fine interiors and an extensive Grand Tour collection of paintings, furniture and objets d'art, is still occupied by members of the family and photography is not normally permitted.
We shall visit on a day when the House is closed to the public; photography will be allowed throughout the rooms on the two lower floors, including the extensive kitchens and servants' quarters in the basement. (Tripods may be used, but no flash).
Lunch may be taken in the nearby village, and members can continue photography in Uppark Gardens in the afternoon.
Meet at 10.15am in the National Trust Uppark House car park, on the B2146 road
1½ miles south of South Harting, GU31 5QR.
Fee to A & H Group members £12.
Numbers strictly limited – advance reservation essential.
