The venue for the LRPS Advisory Day to be held in Canterbury on 13 July 2014 is now at Augustine House, not the North Road campus as advised originally.
There is no catering on site so attendees may wish to take a packed lunch.
The event is now closed for Participants wishing to bring prints for advice, but there are still places available for Spectators.
The Advisory Day is intended to provide guidance to RPS Members and Non-members who are considering applying for the LRPS distinction. It will offer an opportunity to see successful LRPS submissions and receive personal guidance on the standard of your work together with the preparation of your panel.
The Advisors will be Roger Force FRPS, Cathy Roberts FRPS and Richard Walton FRPS, who are all Members of the LRPS Distinctions Panel.
You may attend as a Spectator or as a Participant. As a Participant, you should take to the meeting 15 prints that you consider could form the basis for a panel. This will enable the Advisors to comment on the quality of your work and examine how the prints may work together as a coherent panel.
Those wishing to attend are asked to register and pay through the RPS website. In the event that there are any problems with this process, please contact the Regional Organiser or the Distinctions Department in Bath.
