The Photography Show, at the Birmingham NEC from 1- 4 March 2014, is the UK’s largest photography showcase, welcoming thousands of professionals, retailers and enthusiasts, for four days of product launches, workshops, speeches, networking and more.
The Royal Photographic Society will be on stand P40, Hall 12, and is sponsoring talks on Travel Photography (Roger Reynolds Hon FRPS) and Art and Macro (John Humphrey FRPS), on 3 and 4 March - these will be held in The Studio opposite the RPS stand.
There will also be three days of Distinction assessments taking place in Suite 20 next to Hall 9:
- Licentiateship assessments will be held on 1 and 2 March.
- Visual Art Associateship assessments will take place on 3 March.

A diverse selection of exhibitors, including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Hasselblad, Olympus, Manfrotto and Sigma will be displaying their kit, enabling you to test and compare the latest cameras and accessories.
In addition, there will be a whole range of activities taking place throughout the show. The Super Stage will host a bevy of top photographers. Rankin HonFRPS, Magnum’s Steve McCurry HonFRPS, photojournalist Joe McNally, and Terry O’Neill HonFRPS will be just some of the big names appearing at the show.
On the Catwalk, professional photographers will talk you through portrait and fashion displays, and how you can take your creativity to new levels.
You can also explore the seasons and battle the elements while showing off your macro and garden photography skills at the International Garden Photographer of the Year’s Flower Garden.
Perfect your skills in intimate sessions, discussing a range of techniques, including editing in Photoshop and Lightroom at the Studio Sessions.
