Due to the unprecedented success of the previous trips and the disappointment of some members who were unable to attend we have organized two further departures.

Considered a photographers paradise, this area of South-East Asia with its fabulous and varied landscapes, picturesque ruined cities and glorious temples, bustling street life and bewildering mix of ethnic groups is a most photogenic region.

From the faded Victorian splendour and breathtaking Schwedagon Pagoda of Yangon (Rangoon), to the ancient cities of historic Mandalay, the incredible temples of Bagan and the colonial hill stations, myriad traditional hill-tribes and justly celebrated Lake Inle of the picturesque  Shan Plateau. We will explore this incredible country by local train, rickshaw, horse and cart, Irrawaddy cruiser, canoe, bicycle and on foot with the emphasis on both famous sites and discovering the local culture, bustling markets, authentic cuisine and incredibly friendly people that comprise this highly varied and truly fabulous country. South-East Asia as it used to be!

The tour is a private tour with an itinerary especially designed with photographers in mind. It will be fully escorted by a tour leader and local guides who understand and are experienced in appreciating the specific needs of photographers.

The trips are organized by All Points East.

NOTE - This trip is also being run in May 2015
