Blow away the Christmas cobwebs and start the New Year with an exploration of Hayle and its surroundings. Hayle sits on an estuary close to St. Ives and has a number of interesting features including a railway viaduct; a harbour; three miles of golden sands and a lighthouse; a defunct electric power station; a new quay development; churches; gardens; a new Asda and much more!
If the weather is bad we can stay in our chalet looking out over St Ives bay, and also look at your photographs – so bring some just in case!
Lunch at the chalet can be local pasties or bring a packed lunch. Tea & coffee will be provided.
Meet at our chalet on the Riviere Towans, near Phillack.
Detailed directions to the chalet will be emailed to you on booking.
Meet at 10:30 for a warming cup of tea or coffee.
