In the light of the enthusiastic response of members to an article on October 2013’s Journal, the programme for the first meeting of the proposed group will involve
10:30 - Photographing Lichfield’s 12th century Anglican Cathedral. Members will be present to greet you inside the Cathedral’s at the west end from 10.30 am onwards: there is much to photograph inside, and around the Close. You may of course arrive earlier if you wish: there will however be a service on from 0845 to about 0930.
12 noon - formal part of the day begins in College Hall, led by David Healey.

13:00 - lunch and opportunity to meet members and discuss their photography.
13:45 - Future activities of the group – presentation and discussion
14:15 - small group discussions to generate ideas.
14:45 - coffee/tea and discussion about:
- committee, group name, newsletter, web site and administration.
- events for members and training
- possible regional activities
15:30 - Talk by Su Fahy ARPS, Fine Art MA course leader, University of Wolverhampton, on analogue and hybrid photography in education.
16:00 - end/ Q&A

This central England location is convenient for M6, M6 toll, M42, with fast inter-city rail services from London Euston and the NW to Lichfield Trent Valley, and local trains from Birmingham New Street to Lichfield City.
