This is the third in the series of collaborative photobooks that The East Midland’s RPS region has produced this year, the first being Park Hill and the second The Nottingham Milk Race.

Nottingham Goose Fair is a long established event on the calendar and opens on the first Thursday after 1st October, which this year is 1st October when the Civic Opening takes place at 12noon although the fair will have physically opened the night before at 5.30pm (Wed 30th September)

We are going to produce a book where each photographer will have an open brief to photograph it as you wish to, telling the story as you see it.

You can attend at any time during the fair that you wish although we will have a meeting point at The New Art Exchange 39 - 41 Gregory Blvd, Nottingham NG7 6BE tel 0115 924 8630 at 11am on Friday 2nd October.

To be included in the book your images must be with us no later than 9am on Tuesday 13th October 2015. The first proof of the finished book will then be ready by the end of October with copies available for Christmas.

These events are great opportunities to compare how other photographers with the same task shoot and approach the subject. There is no charge to attend although numbers are limited so please ensure you can attend if you book yourself a place on the team.

The date here is for the get together on the friday. If you cannot make that you can still participate by attending the fair during the opening times and submitting your iamges for the book.
