Following successful presentations by some of the SIGs on specialist photography strands, tonight we will look at the RPS London Street micro group. This is an informal group, as yet, but which is following the current popular trend in street photography. We will show examples of work to date and answer questions from anyone interested in adding this genre to their portfolio.
This will be an opportunity to start to review images which might be acceptable for the Exposure Week exhibition, coming up for members in November. Attendees are requested to bring some street images along on USB for display. (This will be dependent on numbers attending).
We will also take a look at one persons experience in creating a self produced book. This part of the evening will be greatly assisted by attendees who have already produced a book bringing it along to demonstrate the quality they have achieved and the problems they needed to solve, along with a few original images. This will be a taster for a longer session later on in the programme.
