This advisory day is intended to provide guidance to RPS Members and non-members who are considering applying for Licentiateship and Associateship and Fellowship in categories of Creative, Travel and Natural History.
There will also be an Introduction to Distinctions session in the morning.
Creative: This category recognises digital creativity either in camera or in post production. Applications must originate as the applicant’s own photography, but manipulation will have altered the reality of the images.
Travel: Applications have no geographical limitations, and should express the feeling of a time and place, and portray a land, its people or culture.
Natural History: includes all branches of natural history, including zoology, botany, and meteorology.
Panel assessors for LRPS and ARPS will be Nick Despres FRPS & Steven Le Prevost FRPS. The Panel assessor for FRPS will be past president, Roy Robertson HonFRPS.
Roy Robertson HonFRPS will provide an Introduction to Distinctions session.
For LRPS and ARPS -This will be an open session and spectators are welcome to attend.
Please note for FRPS – this will be one-to-one advice in private.
This advisory day will be for prints only.
We will start promptly at 10.00am and is expected to finish around 4pm.
Free tea, coffee and cold drink refreshments will be served.
Free biscuits and 1 round of sandwiches for lunch included.
