Items to bring: Stout shoes, waterproofs, drink and packed lunch. There is a good cafe at Wicken but it can be busy at weekends.
Meeting: Wicken Fen at 9.30am for a walk around the reed bed area. Also over the area where the Hen Harriers often hunt.
After lunch, walk or drive to Burwell Fen for sightings of the Short-eared Owls, or stay on the main Fen for the Hen Harrier roost.
