On 5 June 2016, we will be holding a Fellowship Advisory Day in Tunbridge Wells, Kent for RPS Members who are preparing to apply for the FRPS distinction. The meeting room will be confirmed nearer the event.
Attendance is limited to 12 Members who must already hold the ARPS distinction and no observers will be admitted to the event. Because of the limited availability of places, Members may attend only two Fellowship Advisory Day anywhere unless bringing an entirely different body of work. The Distinctions Department will maintain a central list of attendance.
Participants will be expected to be familiar with the relevant sections of the Distinctions Handbook applicable to their topic and should bring with them 20 to 30 mounted prints, representative of a significant body of work, together with a draft statement of intent. As new work is required for the Fellowship submission, only a small number of prints from an Associate panel should be taken as examples for comment.
The Advisor will be Roger Reynolds Hon FRPS, Past President, Chairman of the Distinctions Advisory Board and a Member of the Fellowship Board.
As only light refreshments will be provided, it is recommended that participants should bring a packed lunch.
Those wishing to attend are asked to register and pay through the RPS website. In the event that there are any problems with this process, please contact the Regional Organiser or the Distinctions Department in Bath.
