The Agenda for this month’s meeting is:

19.00 – 19.15

Overview and update on the Breathing London project (as requested at the last meeting)

19.15 – 20.15

Presentation from Kevin Newman.  Kevin is a professional printer and this is a “next steps” talk following the picture selection presentation given by Neil last month.   Kevin will talk about:

  • how to get colours and materials to agree
  • opportunities for producing products to sell, give as gifts, or raise money for charities etc.
  • books, binding choices, what to pay (and perhaps what not to pay) and how to prepare the files
  • whether you should buy a printer for your own use, the cost of inks and the benefits (or pitfalls) of various types of printers sold

This will of course be interactive and questions/shared experiences are welcome!

20.15 – 20.45

Please bring along with you a couple of images which may have caused you difficulties in terms of getting the correct results when printed – or just any images you would like to share with the group, or on which you would like critique.

20.45 – 21.00

Discussion of forthcoming activities, which include a photowalk in Putney on 29th June, Second Tuesday meeting on 12th July and photowalk in Kingston on Saturday 16th July, which is a joint event with London Street and ourselves.

21.00 onwards

Drinks and conversations in the Bar…..

Look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 14th June.
