Skips, barges, museums, schools, allotments, rooftop gardens and, oh yes, beautiful traditional garden squares - many are open on the weekend of 18th and 19th June! Some old and some new, they are “all over London”, so check out the website http://www.opensquares.org/ and join in the fun. NOTE - not all venues are open on both days or at the same times, so do check carefully before travelling
Can we snap up all 200 locations? Keep a tally of the places you visit over the two days (must be listed in the Open Squares booklet) and enter the "ON THE SPOT" BONUS POINTS COMPETITION at the end of the weekend. One point for each Square visited and photographed plus one additional point if you wre the only photographer to record a particular location..
Bring your images along on Sunday evening 19th June, after the event closes to the Upstairs Room at The Harp 47 Chandos Place, London WC2N 4HS from 5.30pm
We will show/share digitally as many images taken over the weekend as we can BUT, you must take time to capture the Essence of the Place to gain a point - a picture of, or from the gate will not count!!!
ARE YOU IN?
If you have not already done so, let us know on the FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/BreathingLondon/ or via e-mail to http://email@example.com if you are taking part and perhaps what gardens you are hoping to visit.
