Regular monthly meeting for members and guests interested in Street Photography.
Yes, we know it's the day of the Lord Mayor's Show and you are of course welcome to make up your own Group and head off to the City. This month, however, we are doing things a little differently as both Norman and Neil are away. Judy is standing in to lead our regular monthly walk and is going to explore the King's Road, finishing up by walking through Brompton Cemetery - hope for a ghoulish foggy day? The King's Road should be very colourful and busy in the run-up to Christmas with lots of activity and the Cemetery somewhat of a contrast!
Meet at Comptoir Libanais in Duke of York Square from 10.00am for a prompt 10.30 start to our walk. (To find Duke of York Square from Sloane Square Tube Station head towards the King's Road: Duke of York Square is on the left hand side by the junction of King's Road and Sloane Square).
11.30 Meet up at the Cafe de la Paix (opposite Habitat and before the Chelsea Town Hall): anyone who wishes can have a coffee here, or merely check in with us.
12:30. Meet by the Mona Lisa Cafe, just before the World's End Pub, after which we will walk through Brompton Cemetery (taking pics of course)
For those who would like to stay for lunch, I suggest Cafe du Coin, 229 Earl's Court Road. For those who would like to continue their photography in the afternoon, a visit to North End Road Market can be rewarding.
Do sign up: it should be a fun morning!!
THE EVENT IS FREE BUT NUMBERS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE RESERVE YOUR PLACE USING THE BLUE BUTTON ABOVE. All welcome!
