N.B. THERE MAY BE SOME DISRUPTION ON THE DISTRICT LINE THIS WEEKEND, BUT TRAINS APPEAR TO BE RUNNING FROM WATERLOO. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU TRAVEL!
The London Naturally Group presents a Sunday morning walk along the Thames, starting at Richmond and finishing at Kew with plenty of opportunities to photograph birds, boats, bridges and riverside scenes. We meet at Richmond Station for the short walk down to the river.
September is Thames month and, in keeping with this, the London Naturally group will follow the Thames Path from Richmond to Kew – a walk of approximately 4.5 miles. This section includes Richmond Lock, Isleworth Ait and Syon Park, finishing at Kew Bridge with plenty of opportunities to photograph birds, boats, bridges and riverside scenes along the way.
The end point is close to Kew Bridge Station (trains to Waterloo) but you might want to join us for an optional pub lunch before heading home.
Some of the walk may be on unmade paths which could be muddy. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink to keep you hydrated.
