A Tour of the archives of the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.

Members will meet at the  Library's  'Caffi Pen Dinas'  between 12.30pm-1.30pm which will be followed by an afternoon tour of the archives. If attendees wish to request any special items from the archives ranging from a photographic album by Mary Dillwyn, Wales’s earliest female photographer to the photographs of Carleton E Watkins (1829-1916), one of the finest American landscape photographers of the nineteenth century( see their website:, please let Janine Freeston know in advance.
