We introduced the Members’ Day in February 2015 in the hope that it may become an established annual event to be held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting of the Region. The support from the Members has been most encouraging and hence we are repeating the successful format in Crawley Down on 5 February 2017 immediately after the AGM.
The full day event will provide an opportunity for Members and Non-members to display examples of their work and talk about their photographic interest and experience.
Participants are invited to bring with them mounted prints of their chosen category or range of photography and, if available, their successful distinctions panels. You may wish to show how your photography has progressed up the distinction ladder, if that is appropriate, or how it has developed into your existing style.
Each of 10 presenters will be allocated a slot of approximately 20 minutes and it is hoped that the audience will raise questions and comment on the work in an interactive way. Those who wish to display their prints are asked to contact the Regional Organiser at least two weeks before the meeting so that a programme may be arranged.
We hope that this meeting will stimulate an exchange of views and experience of our photography.
As only light refreshments will be provided, it is recommended that participants should bring a packed lunch.
The venue has wheel chair access and toilet facilities for the disabled.
Those wishing to attend are asked to register and pay through the RPS website. In the event that there are any problems with this process, please contact the Regional Organiser.
