Alison is a British documentary photographer. She works to connect history, social reform and ongoing cultural shifts specifically in the area of the role of women. She has also completed assignments in areas effected by conflict such as Afghanistan, Gaza, Mali and Somaliland. As a former member of the Armed Forces Alison is still engaged in the aftermath of war and regularly works either independently or on commission for non governmental organisations.  Using narratives which combine recorded interviews and images Alison works towards storytelling with integrity and a focus on the representation of the subjects with full collaboration.

Opening times

Doors will open at 10.00am with tea and coffee available. The lecture will start at approximately 11.00am
