We will beet by this boat (see photo) in the Old Town of Hastings, or if the weather is bad, in the bar opposite.
There is a multi-storey car parking on Priory Street, TN34 1NE, which is near the Hastings town centre and about a mile from the old town - On Sundays it costs £1 for the whole day. The Rock-a-Nore carpark in the old town is more expensive and it can be difficult to get in and out at peak times.
Depending upon numbers we will split into two groups, one will take to the beach side with the boats fishing huts, etc. and the other group will go into the old town for excellent street photography opportunities. Coffees will be taken as and when and we will meet at a venue to be agreed for fish and chips or what you like at 12.30pm after which we change sides.
Participants who have registered will be able to submit 4 images taken on the day to a Flickr Group which will then be judged by a Fellow of the RPS. The winner will be advised by email, on the website and announced at the following RPS event, the Advisory Day on 3 September 2017.
