We are holding another special one-day event in the London area on 25th March 2017. This time the internationally renowned Travel and Landscape Photographer, Joe Cornish Hon. FRPS will be our main speaker. Joe's images, techniques and tips are a must for anyone seeking inspiration and wishing to learn how to improve.
We also have a talk by RPS 2015 Vic Odden Award and RPS 2016 Joan Wakelin Bursary winning photographer Matilda Temperley on her travel photography projects. Our President, Walter Benzie Hon. FRPS, will be sharing his thoughts on developments within the RPS and present the awards for our Annual Projected Image Competition. Our AGM will also be held at the same location on that day.
We are also planning an informal photoshoot activity on the Friday for those arriving the day before, and an informal print competition for attendees.
Our venue will again be the Runnymede Hotel which proved very popular in 2016. It is easily accessible, has bedrooms for those travelling from afar and is close to alternative accommodation if preferred. The hotel is near to several photo opportunities including Windsor Castle, Magna Carta Memorial, the River Thames (beside the hotel) and of course, London itself.
