Andrew will be giving us a couple of talks during the evening which will show some of his work and the stories behind them.
Andrew Cooper is an award winning wildlife film maker and one of Britain’s most influential television producers. An author and broadcaster he has travelled worldwide for the BBC Natural History Unit. Regularly featuring on BBC Springwatch and Autumnwatch his BBC Natural World films are also screened internationally. Responsible for some of highest rating wildlife documentaries in the UK, he is described by the editor of BBC Wildlife Magazine as a top class speaker. The author of nine books he is an engaging, entertaining and inspirational lecturer that enjoys sharing his experiences of the wild world with everyone. Filming globally, employing some of the biggest names in the business and many top experts, has given him a unique insight into the world of wildlife. A biologist and anthropologist by training, he lives in South Devon where his farm is regularly featured on BBC gardening and wildlife programmes. Now lecturing from universities to cruise ships, he still gives his time freely to many charities. His talks provide a unique insight into the world of a BBC wildlife film maker.
