The International Photography Exhibition 160 opens at East London's Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane during PHOTOBLOCK, a collection of exhibitions celebrating the best in contemporary and traditional photography.

PHOTOBLOCK is a special project by The Old Truman Brewery that curates a distinctive programme of photography events every October to coincide with the Photomonth International Photography Festival. This year, alongside the RPS International Print Exhibition, PHOTOBLOCK will be exhibiting The AOP Awards, The BPPA Exhibition, Photomasters MA Graduate Exhibition, Giles Duley - "I Can Only Tell You What My Eyes See", Ilford Inspires, Photo Book London, Zines Of The World, Fotonow's South West Graduate Photography Prize, Tommy Clarke and The D&AD Next Photographer Award. The Royal Photographic Society has a long and prestigious history, and the International Photography Exhibition is the world’s longest running exhibition of its kind, having been held almost every year since The Society was founded in 1853.

Selected from a worldwide open call, by a panel of industry professionals, the exhibition showcases a rich variety of photographic genres and styles, and gives a fascinating insight into the range and diversity of photographic work being created today.
