Following its restoration, the re-dedication of pioneering British photographer Robert Howlett’s grave takes place on 14th October 2017 (see the RPS Journal, January 2017, p. 32).

A service of celebration at the Church of St Peter and St Paul will be held at 2pm, after which tea and coffee will be available in Longham Village Hall.

There is no charge for this event but booking is essential as the Church of St Peter and St Paul is a small village church with limited capacity, and also for catering purposes.

A JustGiving page has been created to try and raise £200 to restore and care for the grave of pioneering Victorian photographer Robert Howlett.  If you would like to contribute click here.
