Derek Stratton, one of our members from North Devon, has kindly offered to lead a field trip to Hartland Quay.
Hartland Quay situated on the tip of North Devon offers seascape, landscape rock formations within 100 yards of the bottom car park and a Pub for lunch etc. From top car park within a one miles easy walk south are two excellent waterfalls and a high promontory viewpoint. North there are cliff tops and a folley. Evenings offer sunset over Lundy depending upon weather.
Either bring a packed lunch or use the pub facilities, meet at the bottom car park nearest the pub, we will then decide where we go for the photography.
It is recommended that you wear stout footwear, walking boots are ideal for the beach and perhaps clambering on rocks, some strenuous walking may be involved for those that wish.
Please email if you are going to come along so we know who we are expecting for on the day.
PLEASE NOTE THE POSTCODE GIVEN IS FOR THE HARTLAND QUAY HOTEL AND WILL LEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION BUT NOT NECESSARILY TO THE CORRECT CAR PARK PERHAPS A GOOD OLD FASHIONED MAP IS REQUIRED
