Mobile phone photography
Tutor: Nigel Goldsmith

Introduction
While few serious photographers would ever rely on a mobile phone as their primary camera, their small size and huge range of features means that they are nearly always on hand when a photographic opportunity arises.

This practical workshop explores the features of the modern smartphone and shows how the user can get the best possible pictures from their device.

Topics include

·       Preparation, breaking old habits,

·       Basic controls

·       Exposure control

·       Accessories

·       Lighting and the small sensor

·       Advanced mobile phone features

Who is the course for?
No prior knowledge of photography necessary. The course is suitable for novice photographers or for experienced SLR photographers that want to learn about the potential of their smartphones.

Workshop structure
The friendly style of the workshop combines tutor led discussions with demonstrations and practical exercises.
