Hyde Park offers a lot of variety for our winter photo walk. We will meet at Lancaster Gate tube station and cross into the Italian Gardens with their sculptures and fountains. From there we will walk along the Serpentine to spot the winter birdlife. We’ll then wander through Kensington Gardens to finish the walk in the vicinity of the Albert Memorial in Kensington.

Following the walk you can optionally join us for a pub lunch followed by a visit to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit/wpy.html

You will need to purchase your own ticket for the exhibition. You can either book online (saving £1 on the entrance fee) or take a chance and pay on the day (bearing in mind that you can’t guarantee you’ll get in as it is sometimes fully booked). If you do want to book in advance and intend to join us for lunch first, we suggest an entry time of 3pm.
