Bats Hunting in Flight: Pushing the Boundaries of Infrared Photography and Artistic Intent - an exhibition & talk illustrated with stunning new wildlife images and RPS Western Region Members' monthly meeting.

This is Paul Colley's second visit to us and will be a fascinating talk on Bats and on high-tech ways of photographing them.

Colley is a freelance wildlife photographer striving to make more images count in the conservation of rivers, lakes and oceans by working with marine and freshwater conservation agencies worldwide. Chairman of the British Society of Underwater Photographers and director of pcuw photography ltd, he pioneered remote control underwater river wildlife photography techniques. He has a strong pedigree in serious photography competitions, including Underwater Photographer of the Year, Bird Photographer of the Year and the British Wildlife Photography Awards. His work has been published in all of the UK broadsheets and his study of underwater photography composition was the subject of his book Winning Images, which earned him a Royal Photographic Society Associateship. He has just won the British Wildlife Photography Awards with one of the images he is going to be talking about.

£2 members' donation on the day. Non-members welcome.
