Our day will offer participants the opportunity to experience the Digital Artwork of Janet Haines ARPS FIPF EFIAF GPSA, Chair of the Digital Imaging Group and to learn about some of the techniques she uses.  In the afternoon we will offer an opportunity for people to talk in small groups about their own images.  An activity that was greatly welcomed at our first meeting of the group in June 2019.

In the morning we welcome Janet to give her talk about her photographic art entitled, `Inside My Head’.  She describes her process as not something ‘taken’ but created from a vision inside her head which then, through the combination of very many photos and textures, becomes the final image.

Although Janet lives in the Netherlands she still comes frequently to the UK, chairs the RPS Digital Imaging Group and serves as an RPS Assessor. She enjoys helping others to achieve their own photographic goals and to think outside the box.

Janet chooses to print her work and is an appointed Permajet lecturer. In the first half of her presentation you will see successful panels, of her more recent work. In the second half she will share the construction of the images and give some tips for anyone wanting to create in Photoshop.  As a Permajet Lecturer, Janet will also talk about the different papers and why she would choose one over another.  She will have some paper stock to sell on the day.

Visit Janet’s website here to see more of her work: http://www.jayhaines.co.uk
