Adobe’s Lightroom Classic CC is gaining in popularity as a powerful and effective way to manage and process your images in a non-destructive manner. It can help you import, organize and manage your images. You can then edit, present and print them, all in one single, consistent tool.

This workshop is aimed at those people who have already installed Lightroom Classic CC (or Lightroom 6) but would like to know how to use more of the facilities as well as those who would like ideas about how best to store images so that they can be retrieved at a later date! We will also cover a typical photographer’s workflow from importing images through to the print or final web entry.

Using a typical photographer’s workflow, we will cover:

  • Organising your images in a meaningful manner
  • Importing images with presets to help automate your work
  • Sorting the “keepers” from the others, quickly and efficiently
  • Applying common global and local adjustments
  • Extending Lightroom with Photoshop capabilities
  • Repurposing your master images for different output medium

Each section will include practical demonstrations, notes and the time to repeat the activities on your own laptop using your own images, so bring along your laptops if available.

Tickets cost £35 RPS members and £40 Non-Members.

The ticket price includes tea and coffee at the start of the workshop and during breaks. All other refreshments or food are the responsibility of the participant,
