The RPS Historical Group has arranged a two day visit to Paris in December and will have privileged access to two important collections. The event is open to non-members but numbers are limited to a maximum of twenty people.

The plan is:

Friday 11th - Guided visits to the photographic archives and collections of the Bibliothèque Nationale and then the Société Française de Photographie.

Saturday 12th - Guided visit to the Bibliothèque Nationale to see the Michael Kenna exhibition. Personal time to visit any of a number of interesting exhibitions. There are photo events on at Jeu de Paume, Hotel de Sully, the European House of Photography and the Cartier Bresson Foundation, amongst many others.

There will be an informal dinner on Saturday evening.

Attendees will be responsible for their own travel and hotel accomodation. Donald Stewart can provide recommendations.
