Friday 3rd December, 7.30pm - North West Film Archive
Discover how:
more unusual films came into their possession,
they research the background to unidentified films
restoration and conservation work necessary to preserve materia
fascinating films in their collection.
This lecture will be popular with the general public, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Saturday 4th December, 10.00am - Great Northern Festival
National AV competition
an excellent opportunity to see both National/International standard AV and what can be achieved by relative newcomers,
Finishing time dependant on the number of entries.

Sunday 5th December, 10.00am - RPS NW AV Day
The proceedings will start at 10am with Attenders' Sequences
Sequences will be shown on a "first come, first served" basis, so please book in advance.
Guest speakers will be the three judges from Saturday
- discussing and demonstrating various AV techniques
finish around 5pm approx.
Tea, coffee etc are included throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Lunch is available if pre-booked, or you can bring your own sandwiches. We try to make the event as friendly as possible by providing name badges and including time for socialising and browsing.
Information and bring and buy second hand equipment stands
You will be welcome on any day, or for the whole weekend.
Information packs will be sent in the Autumn to previous attendees and anyone else whom we think might be interested.
