Gordon Roots ARPS is organizing a series of “Sunday Shoots” throughout the year. These are intended to be small informal gatherings where VJ Group members can meet each other for a wander through the streets of London, a bite to eat and a drink. As the group membership grows, the Sunday Shoot will be extended to other areas of the country. The first shoot in the series will take place on 20th February 2011.
Starting at Petticoat Lane for the famous Sunday market, the Sunday Shoot will wander through the back streets of Jack the Ripper territory, before a quick lunch at Tubby Isaacs (Jellied Eels a speciality!). The group will then walk to the London Museum for the Street Photographers’ Exhibition. There is no charge for this event, even the exhibition is free. However, members will be expected to pay for (or bring) their own lunch. Sign up at vjgroup@rps.org
