Distinction Advisory Day covering Licentiateship and Associateship (Professional and Applied, which includes illustrative, documentary and visual journalism).
The VJ Group is hosting a Distinctions Advisory Day in London at:
St Gabriel’s Church Hall, Churchill Gardens, Pimlico, London SW1B 3AA
ALL SUBMITTORS MUST PREBOOK.
Submissions now fully booked
THERE ARE STILL PLACES FOR OBSERVERS.
Observers may turn up on the day, but it would be helpful to know in advance, of your intention to attend.
The panel members will be:
Vanessa Slawson FRPS (Licentiateship) and Nick Scott FRPS (Associateship)
Tea and coffee will be provided, but you are advised to bring a packed lunch.
There are no parking facilities available, although you may be able to find a space on a single yellow line. However, we recommend that you use public transport. The Hall is a short walk (5 to 10 minutes) from Pimlico tube station (Victoria Line) and is well served by a number of bus routes.
This day is for anyone, whether or not a member of the RPS, to obtain constructive advice on proposed submissions for Licentiate or Associateship (Professional and Applied, which includes illustrative, documentary and visual journalism).
For the LRPS, you need to bring a panel of 10 prints or digital files together with up to 10 spares if possible. For the ARPS, 15 prints or digital files again with up to an equal number of spares if possible. All prints should be mounted but NOT framed.
This is another great opportunity for everyone to see a great many images and to learn a little about the criteria required in the various categories. All Categories cover an enormous range of work so we should have an enjoyable and stimulating day.
The costs will be £15 for those submitting work and £10 for observers.
To book a place, please email vjgroup@rps.org.
