ARPS Advice: in Nature and Visual Arts There are 2 places available. Particularly Visual Arts
Distinctions Advisory Days are very helpful to anyone interested in applying for a Distinction. They give you a chance to ask questions and you will find the day more beneficial if you bring some of your own work for constructive criticism. It is preferable for prints to be mounted, although this is not essential, and please take about 20 images for viewing.
Cost: £15.00 for members if bringing work, ( £20** for non-members if bringing work ) £10 for observers
When booking for advice please indicate which section and whether prints or Projected Images
Advice will be for LRPS, ARPS Nature and ARPS Visual Art. Panel Members will be Robert Hawksworth FRPS, Rosemary Wilman Hon FRPS and Andy Wilson FRPS. Before applying for advice, you must read the sections of the Societys's Disitinctions Handbook relevant to your needs.
Observing (£10) is a good introduction to the distinctions process and you will see the advice given. Observers must not bring any of their own work to the event.
