Mark will talk about his artistic background and how it has influenced his work today. He will also show us images of the South Wales Valleys and locations used in his work. His surreal work has a distinct style which is primarily landscape photography but with slight hints of Dali, Bosch and MC Escher. We will see how he builds and creates fantastic images from his library of images. His work is so different from the norm, you will be amazed by his images and imagination. We will also get to see his surreal Visual Arts A and Contemporary FRPS panels.
About our speaker: Mark is a successful artist, illustrator, graphic designer and photographer living in South Wales. His speciality now is in creating surreal digital images using only his photographs and Photoshop. He is now retired and spends a lot of time giving talks about his work up and down the country and creating his unique surreal digital images. He has been described as a master of his craft and probably the best digital artist working in Wales.
