Dr Philip Surman is a Research Fellow in The Computer Technology Department, and is in the Imaging and Displays Research Group of De Montfort University Leicester, England.
He will be giving an overview on the background of 3D viewing with glasses being handed out to all attendees to allow the viewing and appreciation of 3 dimensional images. The latest development by Dr Surman’s Group in 3 dimensional television called MUTED (Multi User Television Displays) will also be discussed. This allows several people to watch a 3 dimensional television image at the same time without the need to wear special viewing glasses.
