David Norfolk ARPS
Neverwhere, Somewhere, Anywhere

David Norfolk first became seriously interested in photography around 1978 at University in Australia. He was a keen camera club member but even at this stage, rebelled against the prevalent idea that "art" photography had to be monochrome, finding the most interesting images were in colour.

David says “I like to explore alternative realities, the ‘neverwhere’ as the exhibition title suggests. I am fascinated by the idea that surreal images exist ‘somewhere’ in front of the camera lens, the patterns of real-world light that people could see "anywhere" - if they're prepared to”.
