Digital Monochrome. A presentation of two distinct sections. Starting with Andy's way of making monochrome prints that have the quality of a darkroom print. This will be followed by a selection of favourite monochrome prints from his Ethiopian trips.

Morning: Marvellous Monochrome Prints. A demonstration with A3 prints of the process of turning a colour raw file in to an exhibition quality monochrome print that has the look, taste and smell of a fibre based darkroom print.

Afternoon: Ethiopia - land of burnt faces. Award winning A2 and A3 sized monochrome prints from Andy's two trips to northern Ethiopia.

About our speaker: Andy Beel FRPS is an award winning professional Photographer and workshop Leader. He offers black and white photography workshops, Intermediate and advanced courses and a Monochrome Masterclass for those wishing to hone already advanced skills.  Andy is as far as he is aware the only Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society to offer a Monochrome Masterclasses. As one of the UK’s leading black and white photographers he has a lot of detail skills and knowledge to offer photographers who desire to learn, grow and flourish. See his web site HERE.
