Central Region Judgathon — Sunday October 21st. 10.30pm  

Come along and meet fellow RPS members and have a fun day of serious photography.

The Judgathon is a chance to show off your images AND to possibly gain experience of judging. The objective of the day is to produce an 'Instant', exciting print exhibition. Everyone who brings work along will get a chance to judge and influence the results. It will be a light hearted and fun day with a chance to get involved and, perhaps test yourself as a judge.  Here’s how it works:

Bring along 6 mounted or unmounted prints. No restrictions on size or subject matter.

Hand prints in between 10.30am and 11.00am

Three selectors at a time will be drawn at random from all entrants and selectors will be changed at regular intervals. The selectors will choose the 2 best prints from each 6 and these will proceed to the final judging.

The selected prints will be displayed and voting sheets will be distributed. Everyone then gets to choose which image they would place 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The results will be analysed and computed by Regional Organiser Andy Wharton,FRPS and there will be PermaJet prizes for the best voted prints.

Additionally, if you select the top 3 prints as chosen by the majority you will win a special RPS prize.
