As described in the October RPS Journal (Vol 152 No 8):

  Society Fellows, Vic and Mary Attfield, have been invited by Smethwick Photographic Society to exhibit a retrospective of their work, spanning the years 1956-2011.   Whilst Vic and Mary are well known for their exhibition work, Vic's first passion was in fact designing, building and flying free flight model aircraft.   As this didn't suit his changing lifestyle however, he was encouraged to take up photography, about which he ultimately became even more passionate.

  After an education in science and lar meanwhile, Mary had a career in industrial training and education, and took up photography as a welcome antidote to the stresses of work.

This retrospective runs from 1st November to 29th November at Smethwick Photographic Society's Old School House rooms in Oldbury, Birmingham.
