Ray will be talking about his commercial studio photography, which consists mainly of advertising commissions for various international clients.   Coming from a background of special effects, which translate, today into much use of Post Production techniques, his specialty consists mainly of Liquids, Drinks and Physical Artistry.

Ray former Chairman of the RPS Visual Arts panel will discuss images sent to the Visual Arts panel. He will explain which images are successful and why. Visual Art is the most popular section for Distinction applications and understanding the criteria and approach to Visual Arts applications will enable prospective applicants to achieve success.

Ray is a successful photographer, lecturer and author in his own right and his work has been represented in many of the RPS International Print Exhibitions, achieving both Gold and Silver awards in the past.

Clive will explain the basics of Infrared Photography and the advantages of using a ‘converted camera’.  The session will include a demonstration of ‘Channel-Swapping’ using Photoshop, plus tips for successful IR image processing, including black & white, toning and ‘recovered colour’.
