Exploring the Boundaries of Close-up Photography
John Brackenbury ASIS FRPS

A close-up image is the opposite of a landcape : it contracts space ,
whereas a landscape expands it .But does this have to be the case?Is it
possible to create a "macroscape" , a single close-up image with space
extending to the horizon ? Starting with conventional macro-images , I
shall develop this idea using examples from nature - primarily insects and
flowers .
Lunch Time: AGM (RPS fully paid up members ONLY)

B&W Landscape and Architectural Photography
Ian Bramham

"Ian Bramham is an award-winning fine art photographer and architect living in Cheshire. Ian particularly enjoys photography that is simple and which leaves room for the imagination and for emotion. He loves photographing both the natural landscape and also the architecture of our built environment. The UK and Europe is a densely populated place and he is fascinated by the way in which the two elements of the natural and built environment often merge to produce a landscape that shows our human influence stretching back through the generations."
