Join Arizona-based nature photographer Colleen Miniuk-Sperry for an enlightening presentation about how incorporating your individual interests, background, and experiences can help you transcend the cliché with your photography. As an Arizona Highways magazine contributor, a three-time Acadia National Park Artist-in-Residence, and keynote speaker at the recent International Photographic Society of America Annual Conference, Colleen will share her unique experiences and reveal specific tips, tools, and technique for consistently capturing fresh images based on your own personal vision.  Specifically, learn how to:

  • Tap into individual knowledge, passions, and perceptions towards specific subjects to develop a clear vision for your photographs
  • Distinctively experience and engage with your subject matter on location to build a deeper emotional connection before recording your visual message
  • Develop your own creative “toolbox” based on your learning experiences
  • Intentionally and effectively break the “rules” of photography to push you out of your creative comfort zone
