Highs and Lows in Europe with Roy Robertson FRPS

Looking at parallels and contrasts across various countries in Europe, Roy is not your standard travel photographer. He will be looking at differing perceptions of mountains, building types, parks, transport etc. Roy is the RPS Regional Organiser for Scotland and is also on the RPS Council. He has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally.

"Travel Photography: Listening with Eyes" with Dr. Afzal Ansary FRPS

Afzal is now semi-retired and living in the North-West where he is the RPS Regional Organiser His lifelong passion for photography has resulted in him being awarded four Fellowships from professional photographic bodies. His images have been published world-wide and used by the BBC, Channel 4 and the Discovery Channel. Afzal will give two talks. One project ‘People of Pakistan’ resulted in two exhibitions and will shortly be published in book form. His second talk will focus on Zanzibar, a fascinating island off the coast of Tanzania. The talk will also cover equipment requirement, 'dos' and 'don'ts' of Travel Photography, the ethical aspects of Travel Photography, consent and confidentiality issues. Most importantly, the understanding of the cultural values of the country in which you are travelling.
